The Seacoast Shipyard Association (SSA) and Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNS) are celebrating the 20th Anniversary of PNS coming off the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) list!
In 2005, PNS, local communities and our Government officials rallied to keep PNS open with the Save Our Shipyard effort.
Join us on Saturday, September 27th from 10 AM to 2 PM at Albacore Park, 569 Submarine Way, Portsmouth, NH. This is a family-friendly event to commemorate this historically significant event. There will be guest speakers, music and more. Admission is free and includes tours of the submarine.
